I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the hotel. The traditional Japanese tatami rooms were beautifully adorned with elegant furnishings and delicate decorations. The common areas, such as the lounge and dining area, were also tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The staff was always available to assist me and the facilities were well-equipped for my needs, making it a comfortable and convenient stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a more pronounced presence of the staff. While the children working there were polite and helpful, it would have been nice to have them more readily available for assistance throughout the day.

Location: the hotel was next to a local restaurant with amazing food and a real authentic feel, the Aokigahara forest, lava tube caves, and other areas north of Mt. Fuji and lava tube caves. The breakfast selection was delicious at the front desk.

I was pleased with the spotlessly clean room, complete with card games, a view of the mountain, and tatami mats. I did not want to leave there and would use them next time.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location, while quieter, offered lovely views and easy access to the North Coast Walking Trail. The staff, especially the owner Yoshi, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.
